Proposition 65 Warning
RYZE's Statement
The State of California requires companies to provide warnings about products that potentially expose consumers to certain chemicals. Prop 65 does not ban the sale of any products containing these chemicals; it only requires warnings.
We are a socially responsible and transparent company, and we are sharing this warning because we want our customers to be equipped with all of the information they may need to make informed decisions.

What is this warning?
Prop. 65 is a state law in California that requires a warning about products containing chemicals that are identified by the State of California as causing cancer or reproductive harm. Prop 65 warnings are a common sight in California—on consumer products, but also in settings like restaurants and grocery stores. California is the only state to require these warnings.
The above warning mentions both cancer and birth defects and/or reproductive harm because a substance found in trace levels in our products is listed as a Prop. 65 chemical that the State of California has identified as a chemical that can cause cancer or is a reproductive toxicant.
Should I be worried?
There are over 800 chemicals on the Prop 65 list and new compounds continue to be added. The chemicals and compounds included are vast and include common chemicals such as retinol (vitamin A), alcoholic beverages, and marijuana smoke as well as pesticides and heavy metals. Lead is an example of a Prop 65 chemical that is ubiquitous in our environment and thus often presents itself in food and beverages as a naturally occurring substance. Our products comply with all requirements of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Why don’t some similar products have the same warning?
Some similar brands, like Four Sigmatic, do carry Prop 65 warnings. Others may not for a variety of reasons, even if their product contains the same substance(s) at similar levels. Some companies are small enough that they are not required to issue the warning, for example, while others may have decided to take a chance with the inconsistent enforcement of Prop 65. Just because a product does not have a Prop 65 warning does not guarantee that it is free from these substances.
